Apep is a draconic diety of Evil, Fire, and Serpents and is the living embodiment of evil in the Pharaonic myth, appropriately the enemy of the gods (occasionally allying with Set). Apep's only motive is the utmost destruction of all that exists in the multiverse.[1]

Apep lurks in the Abyss, which makes him particularly dangerous to the god Osiris. [2]

Appearance

Apep appears as a large molten snake with demonic and serpentine minions coming out of its body.[1] He is attended by 5-50 flaming snakes.[2]

Dogma

As mentioned, Apep's sole motive is the utmost destruction of all of existence. This renders him reviled by most, with the rest of the Pharaonic Gods claiming he has no worshippers, although this is said to be far from the truth.[1]

Clergy & Temples

Human worshippers of Apep do not show even the slightest of devotion to Apep in their ordinary life, for they would be smitten immediately. Because of this, they bear no holy symbol or any modification of their appearance or persona. Those who worship Apep do not strive for any sort of dominance, rather all they desire is the end of the world.[1]

On the contrary, evil creatures that worship Apep and are outside of the other deities' sphere of influence will frequently show off their devotion to their god. They will construct large temples in the desert or in mountainous regions that are hidden from human eyes, with these temples often include a high amount of snake or snake-like motifs.[1]

Powers and Abilities

Alongside having the abilities of a demigod, Apep has an extremely poisonous bite and has a breath weapon akin to a Red Dragon but enhanced. Apep is immune to fire, and has scales that are impervious to nonmagical weapons, although he is vulnerable to cold damage.[1][2]

Apep is a 16th level spellcaster.
