Many Vikings argue about whether or not the Crystalscale should be in the Tidal class or the Boulder class. Since it usually lives in the water by the shoreline it is considered a tidal class dragon, even though it sometimes goes onto the beach. It does this to lure in prey with its scales that look crystals.

It has wings studded with various gems like rubies, emeralds, sapphires & crystals. The end of its tail is a spiky ball of gold. It's body is coated in scales that are crystals and rubies. Its claws are as sharp as diamonds but they do not actually contain diamonds. It is said that they have bones almost as hard as diamonds. The head is the only part with diamonds. It uses its head to headbutt and break its enemies.

The Crystalscale has special kinds of gems on it. Every year in the water, the gem particles get bigger and bigger, so the dragon continues to grow.

The fire of the dragon isn’t fire like most Tidal classes. It is a crystal mist that freezes water, air or anything and encases it in crystal. Anything it touches turns to crystal and then it bashes the crystal open with its tail, claws or head.
