Dragons
Naga

This is a dragon or pseudodragon from the Dragonology books, based loosely on naga mythology from South and Southeast Asia. Nagas do not feature heavily in the main series of field guides, as they are mysterious, and either extinct or going extinct due to the dragon plague engineered by Alexandra Gorynytchka, an evil Dragonologist who features heavily in the Dragonology Chronicles, a series of novels that accompanies the field guides. In mythology, nagas can be depicted as half-serpent, half-human. The Dragonology nagas are illustrated by Douglas Carrell to be serpentine with human faces, and the text remarks on how human-like face is. There is a note in one of the books that nagas have arms, but the majority of descriptions within the Dragonology canon only confirm a human face and a serpentine body. In the world of Dragonology, nagas come from the Thar Desert in northern India.
