The Sand Wraith is a cousin of the Desert Wraith. They migrated to the desert in the need of courtship. The Sand Wraith gets its name for its sandy coloured scales which blend in with its ideal environment, hot and dusty savannahs and deserts. Despite living in arid climates, they are categorised as Tidal Class dragons.
Night Furies and Wooly Howls are also distant relatives of these creatures.
