Seath the Scaleless is a boss encountered in Dark Souls.
Appearance[]
Seath is a direct descendant of the Archdragons. His body is pure white and features no scales of any kind. His upper body, save for the very prominent ribs, is very human-like, though he features a long dragon neck. On his back are six glowing colorful wings which are more feathery in appearance. The lower body does not feature any real legs, but rather a slug-like mass of three tails and several tendrils surrounded by crystals. Seath's head is long and narrow, featuring whiskers and feathery tendrils, but no eyes.
History[]
Seath was born during the Lord's war with the Dragons, having been born twisted due to the injuries the dragons sustained from Lord Gwyn's bolts of lightning. Coveting power and knowledge, Seath betrayed his kind and sided with the Lords. After their victory, Seath was made a duke and given a fragment of a Lord Soul, making him a god in most respects. With the help of sorcerers known as Channelers, Seath would go on to fully discover and invent sorcery, as well as create many twisted and unethical biological experiments. However, the dragon eventually went insane. In order to progress in their quest to save or destroy the world, the Chosen Undead must confront and kill Seath to obtain the shard of the Lord Soul he bears. Seath's legacy as a sorcerer and inventor would persist for many lifetimes though.
Abilities[]
Due to his lower body, Seath is mostly immobile and unable to really utilize any melee attacks unless one gets very close. Seath's primary method of fighting comes in the form of magic and magical breath attacks. These attacks create groups of crystals on the ground which inflict curse damage. Should too much curse damage build up in a body, the results are usually fatal.
Weaknesses[]
Seath is fairly resistant to magic, but is not particularly well suited against lightning or fire attacks. Additionally, he is not well suited to dealing with agile attackers at range.
